TERMS OF DELIVERY & SERVICE

1. Service Scope & Rapid Dispatch ETA

QuickStart Battery Trading operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year across all 16 cities and 1 municipality of Metro Manila (Quezon City, Taguig, Makati, Pasig, Mandaluyong, Manila, Parañaque, Pasay, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, San Juan, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Marikina, and Pateros), as well as adjacent borders in Rizal (Cainta, Taytay, Antipolo).

Our target Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) is 30 to 45 minutes from dispatch confirmation. However, arrival times are estimates subject to traffic conditions, expressway congestion (e.g. EDSA, C5, SLEX, NLEX), severe monsoon rainfall, flooded thoroughfares, or force majeure events. Our dispatch team provides real-time progress updates via phone calls and SMS.

2. Complimentary Testing & Installation Policy

When you purchase a brand-new Motolite replacement battery from our mobile technician, the following on-site technical services are provided completely free of charge:

• On-site computerized battery conductance testing;
• Alternator charging system voltage analysis (ensuring optimal 13.8V – 14.5V output);
• Zero-reset ECU memory-saver connection (preventing loss of radio presets, clock, and computer trim data);
• Safe removal of the old battery, terminal wire-brushing, and secure installation of the new unit.

Diagnostic Only Fee: If our mobile technician arrives on-site, performs full diagnostic testing, and determines that your existing battery is completely healthy and your vehicle issue stems from an alternator failure, starter motor breakdown, fuel pump issue, or if you only require an emergency jumpstart without purchasing a battery, a standard roadside diagnostic/jumpstart service fee will apply. 3. Old Battery Handling & Recycling

Motorists may surrender their dead or defective automotive battery to our technician for compliant recycling:

• Ownership Transfer: Upon handover of the scrap battery to our technician, legal title and ownership of the scrap battery transfer immediately to QuickStart Battery Trading.
• Environmental Recycling Compliance: All collected batteries are strictly surrendered to licensed lead smelters and recycling facilities certified by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in accordance with Republic Act No. 6969 (Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control Act). Collected batteries cannot be returned once collected.
• Retention Option: Customers who prefer to retain their old battery may do so. Please confirm with our dispatcher or technician on-site.

4. Official Motolite Manufacturer Warranty

All batteries supplied by QuickStart Battery Trading are genuine Philippine Batteries Inc. (PBI) products with official manufacturer warranties:

• Motolite Excel: Up to 24 Months Official Warranty
• Motolite Gold: Up to 24 Months Official Warranty
• Motolite Enduro: Up to 18 Months Official Warranty
• Motolite AGM / EFB Start-Stop: Up to 27 Months Official Warranty

Warranty covers internal manufacturing defects, cell short circuits, and open weld failures during the declared warranty period. Warranty coverage does not cover damages resulting from overcharging by a defective alternator, undercharging due to electrical parasitic drain, physical casing cracks resulting from vehicular collisions, or installing a non-AGM conventional battery in a vehicle equipped with an automatic Idling Stop System (ISS).

Warranty claims may be processed through our dispatch centers or any authorized Motolite warranty station throughout the Philippine archipelago.

5. Payment Terms & Receipts

Payment is due only upon successful installation and testing:

• Cash on Delivery (COD): Payable directly to the assigned technician upon job completion;
• GCash / Maya: Instantly verified via the technician's official merchant QR code;
• Credit / Debit Cards: Serviced via wireless handheld POS terminals;
• Online Bank Transfers: Direct transfer to our verified corporate bank accounts with digital payment proof confirmation.

An official sales invoice/receipt and a digital warranty pass will be provided for all completed transactions in accordance with Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) rules.

6. Technician Safety & Vehicle Access

To protect our technicians and your vehicle, the motorist must ensure that the vehicle is situated in a reasonably safe location (e.g. roadside shoulder with hazard lights active, parking lot, gas station, or residential garage). If the vehicle is stranded in a high-risk highway lane or floodwater level exceeding safe wheel hub height, our technician may coordinate with local traffic authorities (MMDA/PNP) before commencing mechanical swap work.

7. Trademark & Corporate Independence Notice

"Motolite," "Excel," "Gold," and "Enduro" are registered trademarks of Philippine Batteries Inc. (PBI). QuickStart Battery Trading is an independent authorized retail stockist, corporate distributor, and mobile emergency installation contractor. We are not corporate headquarters of PBI, but an authorized retail partner committed to delivering factory-fresh Motolite inventory directly to stranded motorists.
